Number Wheel
Spin a fair number from any range, or paste custom options to pick from names, prizes, or any list.
Number Wheel for fair random picks
Number Wheel is a fast random number wheel and custom picker for decisions that need to be clear, fair, and repeatable. Set exact ranges, skip unwanted numbers, paste names or tasks, run no-repeat sessions, share a setup link, and revisit recent results at any time.
Exact number ranges
Set the minimum, maximum, and step for a clean random number wheel. Number Wheel also lets you exclude specific values when a range needs custom rules.
No-repeat sessions
Switch to eliminate mode when every winner should be removed after selection. Number Wheel keeps the remaining candidates valid until the session is complete.
Visible result history
Number Wheel keeps the last 30 results automatically so you can review, copy, or clear them when needed.
Text lists and weights
Paste names, tasks, prizes, or ideas one per line. Add a weight with |, disable an entry with !, and Number Wheel turns the list into clear wheel sections.
Useful controls without clutter
Number Wheel keeps the controls people expect from leading random picker tools: exact ranges, exclusions, no-repeat draws, text entries, weights, sharing, history, and a clear final result. The interface stays compact so you can prepare the draw, spin, and move on.
Shuffle before you spin
Shuffle number ranges or custom lists in Number Wheel so the layout feels fresh, while the underlying candidates remain easy to verify before the draw.
Shareable setup links
Copy the current Number Wheel setup and send it to colleagues, students, or guests. The link includes the wheel settings, not account details, payment information, or local history.
Private by default
Your active setup, sound preference, wheel order, and local history stay in the browser. Share or save only when you want to.
Built for live moments
Number Wheel works from a desk, phone, or projected screen with a clear wheel, instant result view, optional sound, and a celebration moment everyone can follow.

FAQ
Quick answers for common Number Wheel setups.
Is the result fair?
Yes. Number Wheel draws from the active entries for the current spin, and weighted custom entries are handled according to their configured weight. If you change the range, exclusions, text list, or mode, the next draw uses that updated setup.
Can I use 1 to 100?
Yes. Pick the 1-100 preset or type your own minimum, maximum, step, and excluded numbers. Number Wheel works for small dice-style ranges, classroom rosters, and random number draws with up to 1,000 entries.
Can I skip certain numbers?
Yes. Number Wheel uses the exclude field to remove numbers you do not want included, such as absent participants, already-used seats, or values that do not apply to the current activity.
What does eliminate mode do?
Eliminate mode removes each picked result from the active entries after it is drawn. It is useful for turn-taking, prize rounds, classroom participation, and any session where no result should appear twice.
How do custom weights work?
Write a line as Label | 3 to make that option three times more likely than a normal entry. Weighted text mode is helpful when prizes, tasks, or topics should not all have equal odds.
What is saved locally?
Number Wheel stores your current setup, sound preference, wheel order, and result history in the browser until you clear them. Account features and shared links are separate from local browser storage.
Can I share the wheel with someone else?
Yes. Use the share button to copy a setup link. The link recreates the Number Wheel settings for the recipient, but it does not include your account details, payment information, or private local history.
Can I use names, tasks, or prizes instead of numbers?
Yes. Switch to custom mode and paste one option per line. Number Wheel will preview the parsed entries, show their colors, and keep disabled or weighted entries easy to inspect before spinning.
